Book Haul!

Book Haul!

This is thing that my friend does because of her book craziness. Well I don't think this is like a book haul but it's more like a giveaway winner. So like I won a book at Epicreads because there were books that I want so I entered a few of them. And lucky me I won one of the book that I entered. And it's DECEPTION which is very surprising because I haven't read the first book yet. Guess I have to borrow it from someone or somewhere so I could quickly read the second book. So now the book is siting there on my shelve bored and lonely waiting for me to read it. I didn't want anybody to borrow the books that I didn't read yet. So I guess Deception have to wait for me to touch it.

Here is the beautiful picture of it. The one I have is an ARC copy.

Book review: Catching On Fire

Book Review: Catching On Fire

Catching On Fire by Sue Knott

Book Summary: In my wildest dreams, I never imagined myself in this position. I have no one I could turn to. If I confided in my family or my best friend, I'd be putting them in danger. Besides, I could no longer trust them. They wouldn't betray me on purpose. But, the FBI would tell whatever lies were needed to uncover my secrets.
I felt like I could trust the men I loved (Yes, plural. long story.) But, the rational side of my brain (amazing I still had a such a side) reminded me that it would be too great a risk.
How had I gotten myself into such a bleak and isolated situation? Oh yea. I was trying to save the world. Who woulda thunk so many people would be against that? Not me. But then, I was learning that I had a lot to learn.....
Syi's Summary: Rachel has been on her own because she trust no one and no one trust her. Since she wants to save the world but nobody likes that idea of the world being save. Though it was the FBI who cause people to distrust Rachel so she could have no one to turn too no even her family because the FBI could use anything to know what Rachel is up too like telling lies to everybody that she is an enemy or whatever they could think of. The FBI thinks she has a big secret that she doesn't want to let people know. But Rachel has something else in mind something that she needs to learn.
Book Rate: 8.5

First, I would like to thank the author, Sue Knott, for sending me a copy of Catching On Fire for a honest review.  It was great, but it was pretty boring at first in the beginning until the action comes in near the middle and the end and it began to be interesting.

Rachel is a girl that date guys and then break up with them because all the guys she dates are pretty bad so it always ended bad. That is why she could trust the men she once loved instead of her family and friends. Well she did has a best friend that always follow her around, Kim, until things got worst.

I kinda feel bad for Rachel, being disown by her family and people don't trust her because she wants to save the world and somehow people don't like the idea of the world being saved. And the FBI on the other hand thinks she has a very big secret and want to find what the secret is and decided to tell lie about her.

But it was a great book to read so give it a try if you're at it.

Book Review: Level 2

Book Review: Level 2

Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans

Killed in a car accident just before she turn eighteen, Felicia left behind friends, family, and the boy she loved, Neil. Now trapped in a stark world known as Level 2, Felicia and the other drones spend the endless days in chambers watching memories of their lives.
The interminable pattern is broken when someone appears in Felicia's chamber. Julian, a dangerously charming acquaintance in life, encourages Felicia to join a brewing rebellion against the Morati, the angels in charge of Level 2. Instead of shepherding souls to the next level, the Morati have been keeping the dead in Level 2 indefinitely, upsetting the delicate balance of the afterlife. Though Felicia is reluctant to trust Julian, he promises Felicia a way out and the one thing she wants most-to be with Neil again.
Felicia can't resist the chance to find Neil again. She joins the rebels, but there's more to his battle than anyone-even Julian-knows. Torn between what she's lost and what's at stake for Level 2. Felicia finds herself at the center of an eternal struggle-and at risk are the sou;s of all mankind.
Syi's Summary: Felicia Ward was killed in a car accident and was sent to Level 2 where the people who died life called Level 2. At first it seem so peaceful until some people disappear and the rebel group leader Julian wants Felicia help. They want to her to join them against the Morati, the angels who are supposed to send the people to the afterlife, but didn't. Felicia felt uneasy about this plan but Julian made a promised or a deal with her saying that he would give her the things she wants like Neil. That was when she finally agree with him because she wants to be with Neil again. Even though they went against the Morati, things are not the same as before.

Book Rate: 9.2

I received an ARC copy of this book.

I really took a long time to read this book but it's because I have been really busy lately. But I'm finish. Yaaay.

So I saw this books at my library because we area doing a SRP reading program for all ages and for the teens after we sign up we could get a copy of any book we like. And this catch my eye since I saw this on Goodreads and it's suit my interest of the books that I love to read. And I got my bro to get me another book by Andrea Cremer. So I got two. Lucky me!!!

The cover of this book is pretty scary looking because the girl which I'm thinking it's Felicia has white lips and her face is paler than a ghost. But it was a good book so it doesn't really matter.

Well I guess this is all for this post. Look forward for some more up coming book reviews and post.
