On leave from the mental hospital where she's lived for a year, she finally has her chance.
Then the plane hits turbulence and everything goes black.
Jane wakes up in a blizzard in the middle of the mountains. Only one other passager-a boy named Paul-has survived the crash. Jane and Paul form an unparalleled emotional bond from being caught together in the middle of anicy nowhere. Thanks to Paul, Jane wants a future for the first time.
But the wilderness is treacherous, and only one of them will make it alive.

The plane crash into the middle of the mountains and only two passanger survive, Jane and Paul. Together they helped out each other and find a way out of the snowy mountain. Day and night, they walk in the cold, snowy mountains. Until Jane found a sign carve into one of the trees and thought it was a trail to a save place, but walking there for a while they gave up and left the trail. Soon Paul got sick and Jane have no choice but to leave him and went on to find help and promise Paul that she would come back with help.

Book Rate: 9.5

This book is pretty good though the text was very big. Though I find a lot of error since it's an ARC.

That's describe the characters:

Jane is very stubborn or mean. Though she change when she and Paul was surviving together. I find her annoying at first how she was being kind of mean to Paul who on the other side was being generous to her.

Paul is very nice though there is a few times he was mean to Jane but it's very few. I was shocked that he said I love you to Jane when she leaving him to find help. That was so sweet.

There's only two characters so I can't figure out which one is my favorite character.

Sometimes this book goes back into time or Jane have a dream about her past life in Life House. So it's very confusing to some people who doesn't reallyget the idea. I was confuse at first too. I was like "What the heck happen here." something like that.

Ok so that's it with the review. I didn't feellike doing quotes because I'm very lazy right now. Probably the next review will have some. I hope.

Bye now.

So they went back to the Patriots and sak for help. Though they did agree to help cure Day's leg and help him find his younger brother but in exchnage they want them to assassinate the new Elector, Anden.

This is fabulous. I love it, having to wait for a long time for this book to publish. But now the second book came out, Ihave to wait for the third book which will kill me. BECAUSE IT'S NEXT YEAR ORTHE END OF THIS YEAR. A VERY VERY LONG WAY TO GO. UGHHHHHH!!!!!

Well anyways June was being so nice to Day. Well since she did help Day escape I shouldn't be that mean to June now.

Ok enough with the talk let's move on to the quotes. I have a lot for this fabulous baby.

"Day has had nightmares everytime he closed his eyes."
Poor Day!

". . . still wakes up gasping with tears, his eyes haunting frantically for all the things he's lost."
I feel bad for Day:(

"Poor little rich girl, with her posh manners."
Eat what you have June.

". . . his lips hot against my skin."
Ewwwwwww.

". . . the Republic's two most wanted fugitives."
Leave Day out that.

"Tess."
She's alive:)

"You're going to help us assassinate the new Elector Primo."
What a dirty work for someone who ask you for help.

"I guess I could use some help taking a bath."
O___________________________o What?!

". . . the most I've ever seen Day undress."
O__________________O Close your eyes you perv.

"I love you."
O_O I thought you love Tess.

". . . seeing him naked before me sends blood coursing fiercely through my veins."
EWwwwww

"I'm worried about you because of June."
How kind of you.

"Tess kissed me on the cheek. . . "
About how many girls have kiss you."

"Engagements> With paper clip rings?"
OMG! Day!

". . . imagining Day running his fingers along my jawline, bringing his face down to mine."
Ha. You wish.

". . . cuts my hair so it stops right below y shoulders. . tints the white-blond strands a dark brownish red."
Can't imagine him like that.

". . . been trying to get a kiss out of this girl for weeks."
That's so like Day.

". . . only one soldier who'd think to use my dog to sniff me out, Thomas."
I really hate Thomas.

"I don't think anyone's ever flirted with me so blatanly. . . "
You'll like a playboy Day.

". . . can feel their attention burning throughme like a heat lamp."
A Prodigy of Republic now becomes a prisoner.

"How dare him dress me like a doll?"
Sucks being a prisoner.

"I wasn'ta fan of him. I was a fan of you."
Well look at that two guys and one girl. Which guy will you pick.

"The Elector's completely into her."
Well I like that so you don't have to ruin Day's life again.

"You and Day are the most celebrated people in the Republic."
Most like the most wanted Criminal.

"I'm going to change the Republic."
Wonder if that's real.

"I need Day to trust me. I also need you to trust me."
Ummmmmmmmmmmm.

". . . Elector puts a hand under June's chin and brings her face toward him. . . taking something that I thought was just for me. . . still can see him kissing her."
Poor Day you also likeJune. Feeling jealous.

". . . going to do everything to make sure the Republic can never touch my brother again."
Go Day:D

". . . dress in warm winter tights and soft leather boots and a hooded duffle cape and gloves."
Well aren'ts you special for a criminal.

"You kiss random girls on the street without a second thought"
Tess is jealous<3

". . . tears her eyes away from me and runs back to the Patriots."
What! I thought you were going with Day.

"You brought my family into this. Into all of this. You and your beloved Republic"
Serve you right June.

"I am the reason Day lost everything that matters to him."
Yeah you better be sorry.

". . . stripped down my collar shirt and waistcoat. . . jump up and grab the sides of the opening, arms trembling. . . pulling myslef up halfway to see where we are. . . a dark corridor. . . jump back down and take June's hand. . . "
Day is so Hot.

"The Republic hired Razor to assassinate Anden."
O_____________________________O

"Razor had played all of us. . lied to the Patriots. . then handed us to the Republic."
What a sneaky guy.

"Day you're dying."
O_________O What! Nooooooooo! Don't die!

"His beauty, inside and out, silver lining ina world of darkness is my light."
Day is hot, gorgeous, and beautiful.

Ok that's all the quotes. There's a lot. Pheww. I'm finish typing.

Book Rate: 10!

I totally love this series. I read the first book like 2 times. And thought of during a review now. I really love Ash since he is very nice and hot. Though he acted like he's all good and stuff but in the end he still help Meghan out and LOVE HER<3

I'm really obessed with this book. Julie Kagawa write relly interesting and great books. Since my friend got the Immortal Rules which is also by Julie Kagawa, I'm going to read it second after she's done. I'm really excited I can't control myslef because it's just too good.

This book is a MUST-READ. All CAPS and BOLD. You have to read it. IF not the whole series at least read the first book of the Iron Fey or you could try Blood of Eden. You could pick any or read the whole series which I would be really proud of the person that read it. :) :D

Ok that's all with the writing let's go to the good part. The fabulous quotes:

". . it's pale eyes watching me through the crack."
Creepy!

". . a mouthful or pointed teeth that glowed with neon-blue light. . . "
That will be cool is it's on human teeth.

". . young pale, strikingly handsome. . "
Yay Prince Ash<3

"Call me Puck."
I really hate him. He's so annoying.

". . . a tornado of beating wings and sharp claws. . . "
O___o

"Your one way ticket to Nevernever."
>_< Have a nice trip.

"A patch of flowers, their petals a shocking electric blue. . . "
That will be a wonderful flower though it might hurt if you touch it.

"Regal beautiful, prince-of-a-foreign-nation beautiful."
I know. Ash is just gorgeous.

". . . shot him a poisonous glare."
That's what you get Puck:)

". . . her teeth flashed as sharp and pointed as an eel's."
O____________O

"You will come with us. His majesty King Oberon, Lord of the Summer Court, has sent for you."
King Oberon, also known as King Pointed Ear, or whatever they call him in the funny way.

". . . you are my daughter."
O_________________________o WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

". . . this is Oberon's little bastard."
That's was really mean of Titantia.

"He was even more beautiful, with high cheekbone and dark tousled hair falling into his eyes."
Gorgeous and beautiful and fabulous hot boy.

Ok that's all for the Iron King review.

Syi's Summary: So first I would like to thank Don for these four amazing ebook copy of The Advance Guard series. It was really interesting and I really like it. I found the fourth book the best out of the three. Though overall they are all great!

Book Rate: 8.9

Here is a interview about Don Martinez:

1. How long does it take you to write a whole book?

It depends on how much the writing is flowing when I'm writing ... sometimes it takes longer than others. As far as the series goes, the first book was written in four months (it was part of an assignment for a college course in the craft of writing); Dinetah Dragon was written (and completed) during NaNoWriMo 2010, so it took a month; The Insurgent's Journal was my NaNo for 2011, but it actually took me about three months to finish; and because of life events going on, this recent book took the longest of any of my books to complete, almost seven months from start to finish.

2. What genres do you like to read.

Primarily I like reading speculative fiction, like sci-fi and fantasy. I have a wide definition of speculative, though, which includes such offshoots as dystopian fiction, alternate history (I love Harry Turtledove!), and other kinds of fiction that uses a weird world to comment on current society.

3. Where were you born?

People are surprised when I say this, but I was born in Japan. When I give the logical explanation ... I came from parents who were both career Navy ... the surprise kind of dies down.

4. How many books have you written so far?

Infernal Eighteen is my fourth novel. I have a fifth one in process, which I'm hoping to release next year, and will finish up my series.

5. What is your hobby/hobbies?

I don't have a lot of time to pursue hobbies right now with my new baby daughter and all, but when I do get the chance, it's primarily puttering around the house, working on mine or my wife's cars, and things like that.

She is on the run to escape Thurmond and find a safe place to be in. Ruby soon joins a group with the leader Liam who all escaped their camp. Together they are finding a way to escaped Thurmond without losing each other and their own lives.

Book Rate: 10!

This book is freaky awesome. I've been waiting to read this book forever. Then I saw it in my library and took it before anyone else gets it. So like if anybody checks it out now I'll be the first reader of this book.

Ok So, I really feel bad for Ruby being sent to Thurmond and her parents giving her away just like that. They could just tried to solve it or bring her to the doctor make her eat some medicine that would make her better. Not called the police right away.

At first I hate really Liam because of his attitude but later on I kind of like him.

So overall I really like this book. The title and the cover was really interesting, that's when I want to read the book because of that.

This is one of the cover beside the one at the top.

My book review banner for this book.
